Gone Fishing
My son kept bugging me about going out fishing again, so I took him back out a couple of weeks ago. The first time we went he caught something, so I guess he expected it to happen again. Well it didn’t and he was a little disappointed when we had to go. He didn’t realize this was a lesson in patience and casting. I didn’t put a hook on his reel because I wanted to see how he did when it came to casting on his own. He did pretty good, but I’m happy I didn’t put the hook on because he would have hooked himself a lot that day (just call it fatherly intuition). While we were there, I captured some photos of him doing his thing.

I was pretty shocked at how focused he was. I’ve been wanting to go back out, but it’s been pretty hot. This weekend the temperature is supposed to be a little cooler (97 degrees), so we might go back in the evening.
